This category is about motorcycle riders who lost their lives and died after being involved in a motorcycle accident. Riding a motorcycle can make you feel free and in touch with your surroundings while riding. The experience is truly awesome and much different then riding in a vehicle. But there’s a price to pay for this freedom, and sometimes a heavy one. The odds are stacked against you when riding a motorcycle and therefore you are more likely to become a fatality statistic. Fatalities are on the rise across the country due to a number of factors including DUI, texting, improper turns and riders lacking the necessary skills to operate a motorcycle.



MOTORCYCLIST IN TAMPA FALLS FROM OVERPASS IN FATAL I-4 HIT AND RUN

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY – A Riverview man died of injuries he suffered today (Feb. 15) when he fell off an overpass when two motorcycles collided on I-4, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
